Godness me... an early Sunday morning run
At 6.30 this morning, I met my usual two Bayside running partners for the long Sunday run. We started the run with two additions who kept us company for the first 40 minutes. We started from Martin St, Brighton and we headed to Black Rock in the dark, and we hardly saw runners for the first hour. As a group we had the footpath to ourselves and this very good. There was not much wind going south but on our return we had the wind against but we managed to keep a better.
During the conversation of our run, Jane managed to convince Kate to run the full instead of the HM this coming October. Jane managed to convince another of the runners instead of focusing on ten kms to work towards the HM.
After we returned to our starting point, Kate left us and Jane and I continue for an additional 5 kms. She finished very strong and with lots of confidence of having done two long run in consecutive Sundays. After that, I ran by myself for an additional 3 kms so I had a total of 28 kilometres today. A very positive result.
